Refractions' 10 Year Anniversary
Refractions Research is celebrating an important milestone this year, as we have now been in business for 10 years.
We'd like to sincerely thank all of our clients, who have trusted us with their business over the past 10 years. We have enjoyed building relationships, and applications, with all of our clients, and we value their trust in us.
Since its inception in 1998, Refractions has grown from a small spatial data manipulation and web services shop into a mature enterprise spatial systems consultancy. We have broadened our client base from a few local organizations, to a diverse list of companies and governments in all corners of the world. We have also had the pleasure of developing a number of open source spatial products, including PostGIS and uDig.
Thanks to all of our employees (past and present) for contributing to our success as we celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The past 10 years have been an amazing experience, and we are proud of our accomplishments. We look forward to the next 10 years of innovation and growth.

Founded in 1998, Refractions specializes in geographic data integration, spatial database development, decision support systems, open source solutions and web-mapping applications. We are an industry recognized leader in the development and use of open source Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technologies and have used these technologies successfully in dozens of projects.
